As a fifth-generation Georgian with over 30 years of residence in the Atlanta metropolitan area, my roots run deep across the neighborhoods that define our city’s identity.
From a young age, I’ve worn many leadership hats in the city:
Neighborhood Planning UnitX (NPUX): Served as Chair for five years and three years as Vice Chair until 2021, guiding five neighborhoods—including the ATC community—through collaborative planning and civic engagement (atlantapublicschools.us, capitolview.org).
Hammond Park Neighborhood Association (HPNA): Founding member, serving annually in executive roles—President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer—for more than a decade.
Atlanta Citizens Review Board (ACRB): Board member overseeing fair interactions between citizens and law enforcement.
Water & Sewage Appeals Board (WSAB), Community Alliance of Metropolitan Parkway Board, and To-Go Team Chair: Leading efforts to ensure community needs are met through city services.
Hutchinson Elementary, APS: Served as Chair for six years, supporting the school in achieving success for students and staff.
C.A.M.P. Board & TAD Advisory Committees: Active in revitalizing Dill Avenue, Capital View, Capital View Manor, and Sylvan Hills.
Lakewood Amphitheatre Oversight Committee: Currently serving, ensuring responsible governance of cultural community assets.
